IMO what it comes down to is toxic masculinity. W/ the rise of authoritarianism & uncloseted prejudice the Peterson/Fuentes types have v. loud platforms feeding men a steady steam of propaganda & patriarchal talking points. Although when I see this, all I can think of is how insecure they must be.
