Traumatised refugees in Almería after escaping Franco and Mussolini's fascist bombing on the road from Málaga. 3-5,000 were murdered by bombs, shells and straffing, many of whom were children. These days in February 1937 by Gerda Taro. Same faces from Kiev to Gaza.

During these days in Feb 1937 up to 300,000 women, children, elderly and infirm fled after the fall of Málaga. 3-5000 were slaughtered as they tried to reach Almería by Francoist, Italian and Nazi bombing, strafing and shelling. It was the single worst massacre of #SpanishCivilWar.
