I'm not against artificial intelligence. I'm for natural intelligence, in all its forms, that has turned ordinary things into wonders since the dawn of time, and continues to produce a data set for us all to learn from, including the machines.

The first step in my career was learning how to do things, but it took understanding why I was doing them for my career to take off. I went from completing tasks to asking why, then understanding the impact of my work, and eventually gained the ability to find the most impactful things to work on.

No ideal can live up to reality, it's always a mix between your internal desires and external conditions that end up defining what you do.
