Seamless travel's working! Forgive my friend... his computer was not built for speed 🐌😂
Implementing was far from seamless 😭 Lesson learned: be cautious with GameModes. Setting seamless travel up too early creates a host of problems.

From sculpting disaster to optimized king. 👑

My goblin got the retopo glow-down of a lifetime. He went from 10 million polys of chaos to a sleek, animation-ready 10k.

Still ugly. But now he's efficient ugly. And that's what matters.💚✨

Redemption arc complete! 🐔

Rearranged the lobby UI and fixed the map display bugs. Now, when the host picks a level, it actually syncs for everyone.

It’s clean, it works, and I’m not touching it again. (For today). 😅

It looked great with a full lobby, but felt off once I tested it solo. So… back to the drawing board on layout. 😅

Working on pop-ups today.
Blueprints got it done fast, but I challenged myself to rebuild it in C++. It took way longer than expected, but I learned a ton in the process.
Painful? Yes. Worth it? Also yes.

Took the time to learn to make a Toon Outline Shader!
Touched on Material Functions, Post Processing, Custom Depth Buffers, pixel depth, normals… lots of new stuff for me.
The tutorial’s still holds up in #UE 5.6. Highly recommend!

I’ve been laying the foundation before diving into the gameplay. The multiplayer lobby is up and running! It took longer than expected, but I learned a ton about #UnrealEngine session workflow and am happy with the progress so far!

It’s not officially an #UnrealEngine project until you’ve deleted Binaries, Intermediate, and Saved… then regenerated your Visual Studio files 😂

One thing I worked on during my time away was importing a rigged and animated character from #Blender into #UnrealEngine. Seeing it move in-engine feels like real progress.
