this is why i encourage people to call/mail their representatives on issues too. This is WHY a lot of them get really nervous when they get a bunch of phone calls yelling at them, not because theyr hearts and minds are being changed but because theyre seeing their cushy ass job at risk
having 10,000 or more verified signatures on an issue puts a lot more pressure on politicians as they make their electoral calculations. that could be 10,000 people they realize they need to somehow win back after alienating, or even as a new demographic worth appealing to

I highly recommend everyone seek out opportunities to petition their govt on this issue. It only takes one or two countries regulating paypros for things to change. And the first domino does not have to be an enormous power. If you can petition your country’s legislative body, please do!!!

for those of you that have somehow made it this long without ever calling: you literally just have to list the bills. you don't have to give a reason. if you get a person, they won't ask you why. if you get a voicemail, just say your address at the beginning. it took me less than 5 minutes to call 3
