At the end of September, Leeds prison had room for 641 men but was being forced to hold 1,092.

The NPM welcomes the publication of the MoJ's Sentencing Review, and will take some time to digest its recommendations and consider them against arguments made in our submission, which encouraged bold action to an entrenched issue.
