We don't have enough time to fully run the changes through the database so blog updates are delayed for the overnight changes.
So a quick summary.
Channel 231 Great British Menu (FAST channel) closed and removed.
November 11, 2025 at 1:21 PM
Added to remaining networks and moved from pre-launch channel 232 to channel 231 - Inside Outside (FAST channel) has launched.
Channel 283 MTV 90s rebranded as MTV XMAS (8 days late as the channel rebranded on Nov 11th).
Channel 292 Clubland TV rebranded as NOW XMAS.

Many thanks to the UKCG support teams for the massive amount of work done overnight on all feeds and to Craig for early morning updates to most feeds.
Other feeds should resume late this afternoon as the editors return from Sunday's meeting.
UKCTVC isn't affected.

The database capacity is now larger than needed given the number of records removed. As similar changes have previously been made prior to Virgin TV adding new (e.g. FAST) services, we will wait before reducing the database capacity.

Most of the changes to tidy up the database following the recent service removals have now been completed. A few coding changes to automated annotations are still required to reduce the processing overhead but these will be phased in gradually.

With the recent blog updates, SQL seems to be working properly. So we have updated the blog pages.
The Pending Launch page has been refreshed. The SI Errors page has been added to the menu and the End of Service Placeholder page has finally been added.

The blogs have now been updated. The updates for Thursday's service removals has been a challenge as it has changed the structure of the database. No Friday rebrands this week.

In an odd move, former transport stream 30, which had largely been removed has had cable delivery service information added back to the NIT. Now showing a frequency of zero, which makes no sense at all.
Legacy frequencies were cleared a long time ago.

Removals:
Further internal services and end of service placeholders.
The hybrid tests for launching IPTV streams from the EPG (possibly meant to work in a similar way to Freely).
Frequency test transport streams used on some networks.

Further to Dave's comments, some of the changes on Thursday were complex and the structure changes have caused issues with the database. Various parameters will need adjusting before the database can be rolled over to process Friday's data.

Create & Craft, the BBC Red Button Services and BBC Radio 4 LW placeholders have now been removed.
Several placeholders remain, some long past the usual retention period:
Create & Craft - 356 days.
Eurosport UHD - 268 days
Real Life - 236 days - as a FAST channel, this won't even be preserving recordings.
ITVBe +1 - 135 days
