With NCPE Symposium fast approaching we ask that the most important stakeholders are treated as such... Patients should never be excluded or prohibited by costs to have a rightful seat at the table, one that decides what our lives are worth no less!

Cancer survivors should not be punished by insurers. It's unjust. Protections against this discriminatory practice exist in many other EU countries, but not in Ireland ⚠️

We join cancer centers' calls for immediate action to enshrine the #RightToBeForgotten into Irish law ✊

On behalf of every person diagnosed with cancer in Ireland, we are calling on the government to make good their commitments made in the Programme for Government.

Cancer patients demand action now. They simply don't have time to wait.

Care delayed is care denied. Cancer patients simply cannot afford to wait. Timely access to scans for both diagnosis & disease and treatment monitoring is detrimental to outcomes.

Action is desperately needed.

Many people referred for urgent appointments in breast diseases clinics are waiting longer than they should to be seen.

New data obtained by the Irish Cancer Society shows that just 76.3% of patients got their appointment within the recommended time.

We welcome @hselive.bsky.social approval of Enhurtu for HR2-low MBC.

Cancer patients in Ireland have waited 2.5 years to access this EMA approved drug. Reform of our drugs reimbursement system is needed to deliver timely and fair access for all patients.

Please take a moment to read UCAN response to comments attributed to Prof Michael Barry NCPE. We as patients & advocates are deeply concerned about this discrediting of oncologist who are calling for drug reimbursement in a system that's badly failing patients.
