When a Minister gets involved in a scandal, I always try and consider if I would feel the same if someone in a party I opposed with the same charge would generate the same feeling. It keeps confirmation bias in check.

I just want to say 'you lost, get over it' to all the people signing that petition that have been telling me 'you lost, get over it' for 8 years.

The normal pattern of politics. Once you win, the only way is down. Once you lose, the only way is up.
