Do you have a constable race on your March 3 ballot? The role of constable is enshrined in the Arkansas Constitution. They're a township officer, meaning their policing oversight is attached to a smaller area of a county.

The ruling today means that Arkansas legislators can change existing constitutional amendments without necessarily putting those changes on the statewide ballot for voters to decide.
