Again, a great question. There are factions, which are formed from similar perspectives and power systems.
There are arguments and disagreements about how gods demand worship and what sacrifices are expected. Which keeps relationships and alliances fairly stable.

The look just added to her fear. “You must sacrifice Annelise. We all do. Make it a favourable one, something the God won’t expect. Otherwise you’ll end up in the fire realm for eternity.”

Excerpt from work in progress: Sunsetter - a novel in the wester/horror/fiction genre: I returned to my fire with a new-found determination. In just one day I had sniffed out the fiend’s lair and despite my stitches in time coming frayed at the nines, I was eager for the fight. In the breech I have the silver to welcome No ha to my fire. In my heart I feel the patter of promise, and hope Maddie and her friends will again grace my camp. It may be that neither will come to fruition. But one thing is certain, the night has come to me, no need to chase it, and as we Sunsetters tend to do at night: I wait.
