HYPO-RT-PC 10 year data presented at #ESTRO2025. Seven fractions def non-inferior to 39 fractions, suggestion that 7 fractions might even be more likely to cure?

Really spectacular effort by @meghatron94.bsky.social and the MVP022 team over many years to make this happen. Meghana’s persistence and careful work were the 🔑

yesterday, my postdoc funding (salary and research funds) was cancelled by the National Science Foundation, effective immediately. I received the same generic, vaguely threatening, typo-ridden email as many of my colleagues who have had their awards terminated recently. (1/n)

This year I'll be running 10k, 10 miles and a half marathon to raise awareness (with a just giving page too) for the ME Association - #millionsmissing can't run so I'll do it for them
Like lots of families we spent some of our holidays at Centre Parcs - enjoying pool, pancakes & sunshine.
But there's one thing missing
My husband, who's chronically ill & one of #millionsmissing with ME/CFS
Thinking of all families like ours

Really shameful that more than 2 years after we learned that Abiraterone, an inexpensive medicine, saves lives, it is STILL not available in the English NHS. Thanks @prostatecanceruk.bsky.social for highlighting the struggle many men, and their doctors, are facing.

We are not doing new stuff. We are trying to preserve what we are doing right now and stay alive.
