A neurotypical graphic artist with severe mental health issues but who has always been a bit mental and had a different view of the world around him and who sometimes talks of himself in the third person!
Wow! Just checked my weight today. 13 stone 7 pounds!

I have lost more than 3 stone!

Can't be happier!

Pheasants are beautiful birds and I love them to bits. But I wish they were just a smidgen better at deciding what to do when a car approaches. Go left or go right. Pick one one! But don't run in front of the car either!

Aphantasia is not a disability!

The absence of mental imagery is not the absence of imagination. To think in dialogue is to reason, question and understand and requires a larger vocabulary. Conceptual memory recalls truths, patterns and meaning. Our minds tend to be quieter, sharper and focused.

'The Charge of the Light Brigade'

Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

We're here to be friends and support each other, aren't we? Why would people not want to follow one another? If you follow me, I will follow you. If you support me, I will support you. This is the way it should be. Repost if you agree!

Taking the bin out, I saw this bright yellow #slug. We get loads around here. But you rarely see one that has just pooped!

The hole on its side is where slugs both breathe and poop!

And the long brown pellet on the ground is its poop!

Some Scottish garnets I've found on the beach.

I know it sounds like,"oh there's a pile of garnets!" But it wasn't like that.

I sat on the beach and picked through the sand for ages for them. They're not big but have a lovely colour!

I saw this button. It is big and red and near a fire exit and alarmed and the picture above shows me pressing it and running away!

It's actually telling me to do it!!

I was thrilled and so humbled to be part of a small number of people to hear the talented quartet, Scottish Ensemble, at #maggieslanarkshire #cancercarecentre

I wish to thank them for supporting Maggie's, patients, families and medical professionals.

I'm reading that some people don't know how the aurora borealis and australis work.

It's really simples!

Our sun chomps down on an extraterrestrial comet or some funky tasting meteor, gets a bit of an upset tummy and BOOM!

Sun Farts!

Question!

Do you read a book once and then get rid of it?

Do you read a book many times and keep buying more books?

Do you also love non-fiction reference books?

Do you need more shelves and bookcases?

In WWI, 1916, a severely wounded Indian sepoy was carried for miles by a Scottish Highlander and a German prisoner under a flag of truce. The enemy, moved by the act, ceased fire, allowing them to reach a British aid post. This shared humanity briefly silenced the guns.

Over 4 million non-white soldiers & laborers mobilised during WWI, fighting and working on a global scale. From the Indian Sepoys on the Western Front to the Senegalese Tirailleurs & the Chinese Labor Corps, the war was won through the immense overlooked contributions of people from across the world

World War I 1914 to 1918

Few people know the staggering amount of soldiers to die in the trenches.

It's estimated that about 3 million died in the trenches. Mountains of bodies thickly covered the miles of muddy land.

To advance, they had to crawl and walk over their fellow soldiers.
