Remembering the glorious victory of Harold and the Anglo Saxons over the Danes at Stamford Bridge today in 1066...
Cat got a bird. Saved it but didn't expect it to live. I sat with it in my hands for an hour then lay it in safe spot outside in case it recovered. Hours later, it's still alive. Tried to give it water but it flapped its wing & landed in the bowl, soaked now. Its suffering. I don't what to do.

I recently found some family photos from the 1970s/80s, including of my parents. One of the pics is quite yellowy with age and also has some ink residue on it - any ideas for removing the ink (could be felt-tip) - perhaps @photogenealogy.bsky.social ?

Why is it that I spend all day worrying about doing something practical (DIY-ish) so by the time I'm confident enough to start, it's too late in the day & I have to go through the whole thing again tomorrow?

This morning, a group of goldfinches slowly made their way across my roof velux window whilst drinking the raindrops thereon - wonderful to see them up close!
