Never had a book account on any social media, but hi #booksky ! Hoping to share my reading journey here and find some fellow booklovers!
What is your all-time favorite Christmas movie?

The Snowman (1982)- I have only met a handful of people who have even heard of this, but I watch it every year and it brings me so much comfort. #christmas #snowman

My reading speed has been sooo slow this month. Really hoping I can pick up the pace and reach 70 books read for the year 🤞

This is the first few books on my TBR for the month. I'm currently reading Brimstone by @calliehartauthor.bsky.social and listening to Empire of the Dawn by Jay Kristoff (I am so behind on relistening and I NEED to get to book 3 😵‍💫)

I think this December/January I want to read the Winternight trilogy - I only read the first book before (maybe 2 years ago now?) but I loved it.

What are some of your recommendations for wintery books?

Earlier this week, I found an abandoned baby possum outside my house and was able to care for him throughout the day until I could get him to a wildlife rehabilitation center in my area. He was so cute and everyone should see his adorable little face. I miss him 😭

Don’t just say DEI as if it’s a bad word. Spell it out.

Say diversity, which is the lifeblood of American society & culture & innovation.

Say equity, which a just society should pursue.

Say inclusion, because decent people believe in increasing belonging, not isolating people who are different.
