@bicyclerepairman.bsky.social My son's friend has just come over because his bike's front brake had failed. Appalling that kid's bikes come with V-brakes made from such poor metal. I've ordered some better ones for him.
Part of a child's bike brake where the retaining tabs have bent out of shape from normal usage, allowing the cable to come adrift.
