Agreed
We will either end fossil fuel dependency and the predatory extractivist basis of global production, or they will end us through wars and ecological collapse - all at the same time.

People's Dispatch: "The attack on January 3 is part of the US war that began in 2001 and will continue long after the engines of the Chinook helicopters cool down.

The outcome of this attack on Venezuela is unclear. The government remains in control, even with the President having been kidnapped.

The imbecile can’t even run his own country. And he thinks he’s going to run Venezuela? That’s laughable. Destroying a country, killing its innocent citizens isn’t running a country. It’s terrorism.
Errrrrrrr.... could we get some more detail on that?
We know it'll take some time to get things back into order, but we *do* have an elected president, Eduardo González so the sooner he's sworn in, the better.

All true.
The “peace” President has started a war.
He'll start a war to:

1. Distract from the Epstein Files
2. Steal oil
3. Justify emergency powers
4. Justify use of the AEA for deportation/internment
5. Help the drug lord he just pardoned

So this piece of crap squatting in the White House has decided to engage us in war to gain oil. This is not about drugs. This is about control. This is about him not being held accountable for his crimes. How much does it take until we act against him?

The United States just decided that it's perfectly acceptable for a foreign government to invade a country in order to remove their terrible leader and take them to be criminally tried back in said foreign government's own country.

So...any volunteers?

Moulton: "When we had briefings on Venezuela, we asked, 'Are you going to invade the country?' We were told no. 'Do you plan to put troops on the ground?' We were told no. 'Do you intend regime change in VZ?' We were told no. So in a sense, we have been briefed, we've just been completely lied to"

I share that feeling. I’ve felt exhausted all morning after reading the news. And I keep wondering when any Republican will say “Enough!” Were they all so morally bankrupt this whole time? Or is Felon47 really that corrosive? Everything he touches dies.
I'm so tired of the american military complex and the devastating real impacts of the lie of american exceptionalism.

I grieve that people in power who don't know peace in their own hearts spew their bitter bile upon the world. This is not the way to peace. War and violence are failures.

We're Russia now. A rogue state run by a dictator who invades sovereign nations without provocation, openly corrupt, selling off the nation to its oligarchs, squashing free speech, attacking political enemies, crushing dissidents/LGBT/minorities, state Christianity, even a white/blue/red flag. 🇷🇺🇺🇸🤬🤮

Reasons it’s ok to forcibly remove a president, according to the US president:

- doing crimes with family
- targeting vocal opponents
- domestic use of security forces
- humanitarian crisis denial
- weaponization of Supreme Court
- dismantling democratic elections
- ruinous economic policies
