Honestly the one game that needs a remake is Iron Angel of the Apocalypse on 3DO
being able to play that game with better levels, gunplay, and a framerate above 5 FPS would be great
just keep the atmosphere and we're good. DO NOT fuck with the atmosphere.

Decided to start playing this game to give the controllers a go and
God damn I wasn't expecting this game to be as good as it is. It's a weird thing to say but it feels more like one of those modern 2010's era games that used the 8bit aesthetic.
It holds up incredibly well.

the biggest missed opportunity of the virtual boy is not having enough 3D games on it. i get the console wasn't powerful enough to provide playstation-esque experiences, but at least a handful of pseudo-3D superscaler-like games would have done it some good
The biggest issue actually is the fact that is a "portable" system that requires you to either play like *this* or like *this* (+ no headstrap)
And of course, how much they stretched the meaning of """virtual reality""" when most games are still 2D side-scrollers and the device has no headtracking

1) view remakes in a less narrow lens and view them like how the film industry determines what counts as a remake
2) make old games more accessible without emulation and downloading ROMs
