For the first time ever, I used the feature on the alarm of my phone that speaks the time when the alarm goes off. I did not expect a harsh female voice to practically shout "It's 7:20 AM!" with the tone of a mother who's losing her patience on her fifth attempt to get you out of bed. 💢

I own three brooms.

I brought one from my old apartment when I moved, and discovered that the landlord had left a ratty broom here after renovations. The ratty broom moved to the entry and is now on the stairs outside. Bought a replacement for my old broom, ended up keeping both.

For anyone who's heard recent news, don't worry about me; I won't go hungry anytime soon. My hoarder tendencies and prepper mentality mean I've accumulated enough food in my pantry to last me a few months. 👍

My living room thermometer is so weird. It never shows temperatures of 62, 65, 67, 69, 71, 74 or 76°F, among others. I figured out that it's measuring the temperature in Celsius (as an integer) then converting to Fahrenheit. Bedroom thermometer, same brand, different model, doesn't have this issue.

Grocery delivery was satisfactory. All items arrived intact, and the produce looks fine. I guessed right that the bags would block my door. (My building has an outward-opening exterior door.) Shouldn't need another delivery for a couple of weeks, but this is better than taking the bus, I'm guessing.

Now that I'm not driving anymore, I thought this morning would be a good opportunity to test the only grocery delivery option in my city. I'll be curious to see what extra fees pop up, the condition of the produce, and whether the delivery blocks me from opening my apartment door. 😅 Will follow up.

My favorite (store brand) frozen pizza originally weighed 32.7 ounces and had 360 calories per 1/6 pizza, but the new version weighs 29.3 ounces and only has 320 calories per 1/6 pizza, for the same price. And you KNOW they didn't make it healthier. 🤨 #shrinkflation

I was in W*lm*rt, and Chumbawamba's "Tubthumping" was playing. Not surprised when they muted the vocals for the first word of "pissing the night away", but then "he drinks a whiskey drink, he drinks a vodka drink, he drinks a lager drink" was muted; only "he drinks a cider drink" was left intact. 😅
