I gotta say, the thing about "The Substance" (2024, dir. Coralie Fargeat) is the only character I am 100% on the side of is Yann Bean. He was always upfront and honest about his product. Something he didn't even charge for as far as I can tell.

Finally got my hands on I WAS A TEENAGER SLASHER by @sgj.bsky.social from the library. About halfway through and I'm entranced by the magic trick he's pulling: The writing sings with inevitable dread and nostalgia sharpened sorrow, but the whole thing is also hilarious. A laugh riot. Jokes on jokes.
