If there’s ever been a legal argument that should be put to the rest, it’s the idea that we don’t have rules or they are too scattered to be applied when it comes to new technology. It’s more than century old and it’s never been true.
The fact that there are no consequences for any of this is the surest guarantee that we’ll see it continue. When you’re much more likely to have your paper published if you just copy others argument and run them through AI than present an original argument is the root cause why this strategy works.

En tiedä moniko näitä kaupungissa seuraa, mutta toivottavasti tietysti mahdollisimman moni. Itselläni ei aiheen puolesta suuremmin ole todettavaa, koska muutokset koskevat ennen kaikkea joukkoliikenteen järjestämistä, mikäli kaupunki päätyy raitiotietä rakentamaan.

This is a brilliant (and insightful) illustration of the impact platforms through their algorithms have to our everyday lives. Everyone who has ever visited a bigger city and has sought for food (or anything else!) through digital maps can recognise this problem. We should act upon it.

I question at times valuation we give to a humans-as-clunky-costumes technology, but who am I to say that we should not value corporations seven quadrillions for innovating remote servants who are paid slave wage to pour us drinks. Unlike first robots in R.U.R. these come pre-installed with morals.
I am eternally thankful that I don't normally have to try to understand these old treaties. Here's a copy of the first article of telegraph treaty between German states and Austria. Beats me what on earth they have written there.
