Having been around places where you can actually write with detail and nuance instead of just "Thing bad, give likes." I am shocked people can function with a 300 character limit post.
This is actively harmful because the nuance being clipped out to fit in the box is usually *really* important.

I had no idea this was what I was commentating for when I agreed to commentate Puggsy but I'm so glad it was because finding an actual identity and solidarity in being neurospicy and nonbinary has been the overarcing theme of my 2025.

I wonder if 1080x1920 is just not a thing people do anymore because more and more things are hanging when they flip between responsive modes at 1200px wide and even then the mobile mode tends to look terrible at this resolution.

The IFPA's women's advisory board just collectively resigned. Multiple entire STATE scenes have stopped reporting results to the IFPA so playing there gets you no points. Response to how they've handled this is overwhelmingly enraged.
The IFPA may actually die over this.

As a lifelong event/community organizer I gotta say: the IFPA ignoring their entire women's league board and not make right on blatant hate-crime tier transphobia that biased against an entire group participating in a rated tournament is a sign of rot in the wood.

Something I'm perpetually salty about is I was out as pan/enby/therian 10+ years ago and it felt isolating being in the speedrunning scene back then.
I burned out for a lot of reasons but I feel like I missed the time to be welcome by a few years and it makes me sad.
