Created this painting inspired by a photo my friend took of myrtle flowers. I used markers on paper, which was tricky because the inks spread easily. They ended up looking a bit more like camellias than myrtle, but I still like how it turned out!

A plucky young rope-maker is kidnapped for their expertise and ironically tied to a chair with their own rope by a fat cat factory owner who wants to know why industrial-produced rope is inferior to the homespun stuff. . .
