I really like painting faces and think I have improved a bit this year. After sculpting my own goblin with bigger eyes (for painting), I realized I could sculpt bigger eyes on other models, which I did on the orcs here.

2025 has been one of the worst years for me on a personal level, but I also managed to achieve some things I am very proud of: sculpting my first miniature, blending more landscape painting with my miniatures, creating the artwork for my band's new single and releasing my first youtube video.

Pirate Orc Raid! The mountains are Bucegi, from a reference picture I took this summer on a hike. I love painting backgrounds for my models and hope to do much more next year as I'm getting more comfortable with it.

Done! I tried to get him finished for the MPO 2025 but time was short and I had to rush. This is how I wish I had submitted him. It's mainly fixing the boots and adding more contrast to the gold

Here's my entry for the MPO Orkvember 2025. I was hoping to spend more time on this but I had to rush to get it submitted. I think the gold is too yellow. All the leather is very rough and I didn't fix the axe on the black orc. Still, I think they look great as a group and I'm happy with the faces.
I'm back home and managed to get some painting done yesterday. Not really sure about the bracelet, maybe I should make it leather and only the spikes metal.

Here's the painted head, converted from a 40K ork. You can see why I felt I needed bigger eyes: I wouldn't have where to put all that detail on the original sculpt.

Joking aside, there are a lot of cool fantasy to 40K conversions that people are doing, but not so much the reverse
