Anyone who kills/harms wildlife should face much stronger persecution.
Wild creatures have an equal right to live safely on this planet as we have.

Also questionable quality of pictures from this tablet. Birds at the feeder once I returned from reuse center drop-off. It took me a while. Three and a half hour circa. 🪶

Excuse my high-pitched for borbs voice, it looks like it helps them find courage, it worked with chickadees, with doves, with a magpie that forgot her walnut, she returned. Before the sparrows visit I had a chat with ducks and huge fish. Must download the big camera, really. And it's low resolution.

#HughDancy hosted Symphony Space's 250 Years of Jane Austen reading tonight! He talked about starting in Jane Austen Book Club and said that he stole the prop book which supposedly contained the complete works of Jane Austen, when it actually contained the complete works of William Shakespeare! 😄

Still have those art supplies from the last time. And the owner let go of the pile of never used handkerchiefs, I washed them, not gonna iron them. But might it be useful to some crafty person for something?

On my way to the post office and a pharmacy I also carried a few things to donate them to a reuse center. Including a fish tank decoration in the shape of a castle on a cliff. I used it as a décor for myself in the past. Not in the photos.

And in the evening I created something and it was tasty, with apple, vanilla sugar, and soft curd cheese, baked slowly, cos of the filling. Not only did it smell so good, but it tasted decent I made it disappear from the baking tray.

Made some dietary changes (after doctor's appointment), I don't know if I will stick with it but I somehow prepared the portions, cut the vegetables and started using up the pasta and there are also boxes of rice still.

Since there are billion-dollar ecosystems dedicated to turning whatever hobby you have into the hobby of buying stuff for that hobby, you have to actively resist this decay.

Another household problem, regarding rats. Always been out there. Not their first time attempting to breach through the upper level toilet tube. They no longer make sturdy ones, but that extendable nonsense. This is the second time a curious rat destroyed it and got out. Luckily not from the room.

Today's adventure, a little hedgehog slowly decompressing, he was very hungry and got into a situation. I am keeping eye on that lamp of course. 🦔

Rainy morning at the terrace bird feeder, with two doves, some chickadees and sparrows. The garden is dropping all leaves, which I will leave there, except a pile or two for hedgies.🪶

Rosalind Franklin went to the same school - St Paul‘s in Brook Green, West London - as Cecilia Payne, who wrote the most important astrophysics PhD of the 20th century and discovered what the Universe is made of. Payne’s name is largely unknown, though she became the 1st woman professor at Harvard.
Raising a glass for Rosalind Franklin tonight. James Watson absolutely did her dirty.

But beware...

Removed remaining hiding spots from the terrace, remaining furniture, swept most of the dirt away and after dark went to check on the resident spood and plants. #spider #bugSky 🌱

The post was more complex, but it refreshed itself and therefore deleted my elaborated wall of text under the pile of photographs.

The pet swamp is alive, though some plants are done as it's cold. Some still cope. Moss in drift wood cracks grows, but birds tend to stick their bill in it.

Tonight I went through our retro and vintage tree ornaments. I tossed just rubble, old hooks, pine needles, sharp shards, but a lot of it is so fragile and cracked around that hanging cylinder area and a lot more was damaged in accidents. It doesn't make me cry though. The name tags yesterday did.
