Right, with 21 hours of FF6 included, my ranking of the first 6 final fantasy games would be 5 > 6 > 4 > 3 > 1 > 2. 6 wins out over 4 in that it does not want to make me slam main and side characters against a wall. 1 is a good prototype. 5 is a better executed 3 and 2 also exists as an experiment.

Something tells me that the FF6 finale stream will be uncomfortable for me, because at this point I do not get the hype for the game. As I mentioned to someone else, other games since then have done FF6 better in both mechanics and story.
