27) The Atomic Cafe (1982). Haunting and eerie in its portrayal of nuclear propaganda in the 1940s and 1950s. Almost feels like a satire, except it is all official government footage. Last scene especially, where the nuclear optimism of the 50s is blasted away by a bomb, feels most haunting. 8.5/10
