Definitely not upgrading to a new iPhone this year. Air looks good, but 195,000 JPY is a lot of dough for 20g lighter phone with slightly bigger screen. Not a fan of phones getting bigger and bigger either…

So the entire forested property next to mine in Karuizawa will have all trees chopped starting next week. I thought we had some 自然保護対策 but I guess they just said fuck it 😟

This is why it’s still dumb to use language test scores as anything more than a filter. You should still be checking for proficiency.

Been cycling about 100km a week, 2 to 3 sessions and man do I feel better. Want to keep riding more and drop some kilos from my belly.

Karuizawa gravel さいくりんくis all ups and downs. Got two flat tires on my descent. Since last time I rode this course in the fall, there were a lot more twigs and tree branches on the road. Probably how I got the flats. Good ride though!
