On Nov. 14, 1938, the Lions Gate Bridge opened in Vancouver.
The bridge only took 593 days to build, and it wouldn't have happened without the wealthy Guinness family.
A bylaw also prevented any Asian person from helping in construction of the bridge.

Had a friend try to get tickets a while back for the game tonight. Last year seat was $246 (with a 30% off discount), this year same seat was $500+ (with a 30% discount). Same opponent (Jets). I'm amazed they fill the seats. #Canucks

Totally preventable.
Public Health Ontario said that as of Oct. 28, there have been 2,375 confirmed cases in the province. Nearly three quarters of those cases were infants, children, or adolescents. And 96 per cent of the young people infected were unvaccinated.
