I hadn't paid enough attention to realise the film was set in an Argentinain political prison before we got to the film so I was a little blindsided by how uh... pertinent things felt.
The musical parts were delightful and camp. The overall story was tragic, and the main character was so wonderfully believably queer. I really enjoyed it.
