It is disappointing that the Levy Report replaces Gender IDENTITY Clinic with Dysphoria Clinic.

This is regressive. It denies the positivity of gender identity and repositions being transgender as an illness.

The UK Gov would rather close the 'service' and replace it with conversion practices

Levy Report on NHS Adult Gender care in the UK published yesterday.

Advocates less involvement of patients and centralisation of services.

But lacks actionable steps to cut waiting times from 30 years to the guideline of 18 weeks for 1st appointment

Peggie vs Fife. Forstater's evidence
"In our [the court's] view, .... , there is very far from sufficient reliable evidence to establish as fact that a trans woman ... is a greater risk to any person assigned female at birth ... than another woman afab" Clause 1049

If you have time, read from clause 1038 onwards for the judge's view on the nature of Forstater's 'expert witness statement'.
"It is not skilled evidence"
"Material for the public debate"
"Polemic"
"Not facts, but expressions of her opinion"
Etc.

Did anyone anticipate a time that the news headline of the day would place the US President, the Gaza Conflict and Trans Issues side by side as reasons for the resignation of the BBC's Director General and CEO of News?

It seemed unlikely this appeal would be acknowledged as it would have opened the path for challenges in other countries.

Trans rights denied today, but who's rights tomorrow will be denied for conflicting with another small pressure group?

As UK gender critical groups gather to tear themselves and each other apart, there is a broader 'silver lining'.

A year ago few people had really engaged with a trans person. Now they cannot miss us and mostly they see an unjustly victimised minority of decent people trying to live peaceful lives.

Unable to provide a clear path for gender transition, which has resulted in a 30+ year waiting list in England, the NHS is now investigating a 'detransition' pathway for all those it has spectacularly failed.

The consultation can be accessed using this link.

Honestly, how can we have any faith in Labour as a party of national governance? Such high moralising when campaigning but a total failure once in power.

The anti-trans rhetoric is relentless. In a letter to The Guardian, Baroness Faulkner has again asserted that the EHRC guidance brings clarity.

That guidance has been deleted from the EHRC website, a move that caused confusion NOT clarity.
