What is occurring in DC is a local problem with national implications. Needs to be thought of more like Detroit or St. Louis is experiencing it. It's as "national" as anywhere else. Donate to local DC specific orgs that are for the citizens here. The "national" orgs don't need as much help. #freeDC

What these laws REALLY mean is trans people can't use any public restroom. Which is why Republicans pass them. It's a way to help drive trans people out of public existence.
1. A transgender man was detained in South Carolina for using the restroom that Republicans want him to use.

Think it's important to remind people that when new incarceration outpaces the rate at which they can build prisons, they make 'camps.'
So many people are tossed there, food supply, potable water, clean bathroom facilities, etc.... there's no time for them to get built.

These spineless hospital administrators are validating unlawful orders and putting hundreds of vulnerable youth in severe risk of suicide, self harm, and other mental health risks by suddenly cutting them off their medications cold turkey without support. It's evil.

Stay grounded in reality and real threats, not hypotheticals. We are in a bad enough situation as it is without fearing additional hypotheticals.
