Rather than take place in 2006 like in the western release, the Japanese version of G1 season 3 was branded as an entirely new show, named Transformers 2010, which of course, takes place in 2010.

The "Precursor World" is the home of the Primus Vangaurd, a universe that existed before the original Generation 1 Cartoon continuity, and, eventually, will see a Ragnorak like event that causes the Generation 1 cartoon universe to exist

While initially being presented as a Decepticon-turned-Autobot like his usual incarnations, Cyberverse Drift sets himself out from the crowd by having been a double agent, defecting as a ploy, and revealing himself to be loyal to Megatron before his death.

Transformers: Rise of the Chevy Autobots was an online game available on the Chevorlet website to tie into the the 2007 live action film, it featured a character creator that used Autobots that turned into Chevy vehicles to make your own autobot.

Transformers: Animated Sentinel Prime was initially concieved as an incarnation of Rodimus Prime. Hasbro didn't like the idea of Rodimus being a raging cunt, so he was made into Sentinel Prime instead.

G1 Optimuses former friend from the cartoon, Dion, has received 3 toys in the franchises current life span, one a redeco of G1 Wheelie, one a redeco of Armada Hot-Shot, and the 3rd from Studio Series Kup.

While the name is now renowned as a big goofball or loveable brawler, the name Bulkhead was first seen with a much different Autobot, an old impulsive coot from the Energon portion of the Unicron Trilogy. Funnily enough he is still green.
