This budget bill is horrible.
The Medicare cuts.
The tax breaks for the rich.
The 400+% increase in spending for an already out-of-control "immigration" enforcement that's getting turned onto citizens.
& so much more.
The GOP is inflicting this upon us.
But Dems didn't try everything to stop it.

Senate Democrats made a choice.
They could engage parliamentary tactics to shut down the Senate
Or
They could take the risk that they might pursuade 4+ GOP Senators to vote against this horrible bill
They chose wrong. And now they're as helpless to stop it as you or I.

Republicans changed the rules, & now practically any action the executive branch takes can be challenged in Congress. Any 30 Senators can bring up a vote, & get a guaranteed 10 hours of floor time.
Meaning that Democrats could hold the floor indefinitely, if they wanted.

It cannot be overstated how much of a night and day visual difference there is in Tears of the Kingdom and Mario Odyssey on Switch 2 compared to the first Switch. They feel like playing brand new games. It’s so good.
