Musk’s staffers have entered an independent government agency by force. Employees from DOGE are now inside the Washington offices of the United States Institute of Peace. This comes just days after agency representatives were unable to gain access to the building on Friday being blocked by lawyers.

It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year.
I’ll be ok. But please understand that many worked HARD to get into these positions and were doing great public health work.

Near the end of the last DT administration, I got cancer. I think the stress of constantly being angry and offended was a strong factor. I can’t subject myself to all that stress again. I’m turning off social media (political) and news. Let me know when the mothership arrives to save us.
