Watching college football in the post-Franklin era is… rather nice. I’m not sick to my stomach worrying how head case JF is gonna eff up clock management and flop against Iowa. I have a 4-box of games I’m watching and rooting for Vanderbilt to beat Brian Kelly, and for Manny Diaz to succeed.

Penn State academics and Penn State Athletics are two separate financial entities. The University does not fund Athletics. In fact it’s occasionally the other way around, with Athletics giving money back to the school.
