man played some pandora's tower with a friend last night and was really disappointed. my fabled wifeguy game is actually just a 6th gen zelda like (i.e. game where most actions are perfunctory and highly cinematic), liked the time limit until i saw how generous it was

obviously something that is made jokes about often but i think people don't realize the pervasiveness of gamers attributing them being bad at games to being the game's fault without realizing what's going on. so often there's an instant assumption that there must be something out of their control
