Mobile fighting games are actually kinda dope these days. The technical input hurdle have largely been overcome.
Between tough love arena, Vita Fighters, super dragon punch force 3, and 2d fighting training machine, there are quite a few robust and mechanically fulfilling games.

It scares me that there are people who want to play fighting games on their phone. Somehow online too. Phone is for Pokemon and Tetris
