Player tip: GMs are members of the group and their fun is also important. If your GM likes #worldbuilding then they might find lore dumping fun. They may have worked hard on this.

GM Tip: #WorldBuilding is something we do for ourselves most of the time, not for the players. There's no need to lore dump. Let it come out organically, in drips and drabs. The players will engage with the parts they're interested in; the rest is irrelevant.
