This country needs to invest in a huge batch of de-ICEr. That slope out there is getting mighty slippery.

I suggest everyone become very, very familiar with this piece by law Professor @david.noll.org. I suspect you will be referring to it often. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/if-t...
If the Marshals Go Rogue, Courts Have Other Ways to Enforce their Orders
Opinion | Even a rogue marshal’s service is not an insurmountable obstacle to courts enforcing the rule of law.

On this incredibly steep downward slope we are on, labels like "Major Country" are probably not going to apply to us for very much longer

Have you heard of Plan 2028?

"...building power will require a long-term strategy that starts with organizing now... and that seeks governing power to change the rules of the game altogether."

How a “Plan 2028” Could Bring Labor and Social Movements Together
Mass strikes? Escalating disruptions? The call for unified action on May 2028 presents real opportunity if we start now.

You could tell me that all of the meat here 100% came from defeated Russian soldiers, and I would still unwaveringly support Ukraine.

I only recently discovered these Eclipse series DVD sets from Criterion, and I’ve kind of become obsessed with them.

This weekend, I’ve been catching up on some of my movie backlog starting with this one. It was really interesting to see the racism of the 1950s through the lens of another culture and geographic location. I recommend it not only for its social commentary, but as a pretty decent police procedural

My favorite thing about 2025 so far is the daily choice of “Do I stay informed today, or do I actually want to sleep tonight?”

I am done with being magnanimous at this point.

Republican voters are at worst hateful bigoted sycophants and at best gullible ignorant dumbfucks, and honestly no matter where they fall on that spectrum they deserve every disgusting thing that comes with what they voted for.
