When I was growing up, people would keep informationally dense posters on the back of their toilet doors so you had something to read.

HRT did more for me than create physical changes. Within three hours of my very first dose, a noise in my head I never knew was there just… stopped. The world got quieter for the first time in my life, and it’s stayed that way ever since. I’m at peace inside in a way I had never been before.

while waiting for a date another customer came up and introduced himself and asked if I needed anything. I don't think he was staff in retrospect, and he seemed sober and normal.
when he left he stopped again at our table (now with date) and said to have a good night.

I interestingly think there's something to emotions and Anthropic's 3 H's
helpful - emotions have information. they're trying to tell you something.
honest - emotions are your truth. acknowledging them means seeing yourself.
harmless - emotions cannot hurt you. you can endure whatever comes up.

there's definitely some type of "types of memory" cos I have an acceptable memory for things that happened but I have friends who can like remember lists of food or important numbers but can't remember past conversations
it's weird that most ppl don't remember everything everyone ever says to them

people say to just say what you want and don't pander for the engagement but lowkey my experience massively improved once I started trying to tweet bangers alongside my more earnest tweets
social media gets about 99% better when you stop giving a shit about garnering any kind of attention, give that up unto the gods of chance, and just use it to make friends
