(Which, in hindsight, is still absolutely the right call. I just forgot to check who wrote the fkn script for dbh before deciding to watch it 🫠

Watched a playthrough of it around 2013 or 2014. I can’t remember the details anymore, but overall the game left such a bad impression on me that I deliberately looked up who made it so I could avoid anything else he put out in the future
i know it's 90% off but a warning to potential customers not to buy the steam version of heavy rain. it is not safe. it installs heavy rain on your computer

Everybody should watch this and see this woman, who has a baby in her arms and is thrust into basically a standoff, develop courage in real time.

So far I’m liking it *a lot* (it’s also very easy to read). Fingers crossed it stays this good until the last page.

I came across that post the other day and didn’t even finish the second paragraph. Something felt off from the start, even though I couldn’t put my finger on it. Maybe it was intuition, or just pure luck. But one thing is for sure, it’s going to be harder and harder to tell.

A really interesting read, and great advice for us living in this new, hellish phase of the post-truth era: “you should always be at your most suspicious online when someone is baiting you into outrage.”
The author of a viral Reddit thread alleging fraud at a food delivery company tried to back up his claim by sending me AI-generated documents. Today I'm publishing those documents in the hopes that it helps other reporter see what we're up against in the age of AI www.platformer.news/fake-uber-ea...

First day back at work and already caught someone using chatgpt in 4K when they shouldn’t, for something extremely easy and low-stakes. Certainly a way to start the new year.

A skill that people need to actively learn and practice, and to constantly update and upgrade to keep up with the AI industry’s new outputs. Many either don’t have the will or the time, or don’t know whom to trust.
the number of people who can't clock bad AI-generated video footage as such really makes me more sympathetic to the people who fell for the Cottingsley fairies. Our eye for the real in video or photo footage isn't natural, it's a learned skill.
