Mixed feelings about this bc yeah the Corporate Pride shit was always dumb, but also the fact that Libs of TikTok or whatever can spook these giant enterprises away from something as low-effort as putting a rainbow on their fucking pfp seems...not great as an index of How It's Going
Guys. Being queer isn’t commodifiable any more. What do we do

a) what the fuck, how is info this stored as plain text ever at any point

b) I know there are security people at Microsoft who know way better than this

c) what the FUCK
So Windows Recall takes screenshots every few seconds, OCR's them, and then stores all that in plaintext in a SQLlite database. It's impossible to understate how much of a security issue this is. Easily compromised spyware installed by your OS!
Windows feature that screenshots everything labeled a security “disaster”
Windows 11’s new Recall feature faces privacy and security concerns.

I haven’t kept up with the Hunter Biden case particulars.
But I just heard a former DOJ say Hunter’s his ex-wife took the gun & put it in the dumpster. Somebody saw it, put it in a bag & gave it to law enforcement & they checked to see if there was cocaine residue on it?

I've always argued that finance people are way more reasonable than Silicon Valley tech people because they don't pretend to be righteously saving the world when they know they're not, they're less inclined to be hypocritical as a result, and they expect scrutiny.

Ah, first time this season in the LEVERAGE:REDEMPTION writer's room, we were doing a deep dive on the villain and one of the writers rubbed their forehead and sighed, "which cabinet is the liquor in?"

So evil! So legal!

In March 2022, temperatures near the eastern coast of Antarctica spiked at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit (39 degrees Celsius) above normal — making it the most intense recorded heat wave to occur anywhere on Earth, according to a recent study.
Scientists found the most intense heat wave ever recorded — in Antarctica
On March 18, 2022, temperatures peaked to minus-10 degrees Celsius. That’s warmer than even the hottest temperature recorded during the summer months.
