Music by the intriguing and overlooked Rita Strohl in Tuesday's Breakfast on bbcradio3. Bach Before 7 features the brilliant Belgian oboist Marcel Ponseele. Two of today's top string quartets - Chiaroroscuro and Dover. And the dawn chorus was a Shorelark recorded in Lapland.

My last view of staring into this for a week. Friday's Breakfast on bbcradio3 is up & running. In Bach Before 7 it's the battle between the Greek gods Phoebus and Pan, there's Sibelius's Violin Concerto and just before 9 a great new live recording of Beethoven's Emperor Concerto.

It was a Sedge Warbler in the dawn chorus. And did you see the incredible hunter's moon last night? Huge! Had to go out for a late walk to take it in. Almost extended the daylight by a few extra hours!

Two of my favourite places feature in music in Thursday's Breakfast on BBCRadio3. The north Norfolk coast and Scotland’s west coast looking out to the Inner Hebrides. We're getting ready for something really special happening on Radio 3 and the BBC next week - Wild About Nature
