I for one am sick of clean waters and healthy wild-life. Why do we need storm mitigation solutions that involve nature? Yuck! Also shout-out to the Supreme Court's decision on Sackett v. EPA!

Shout out to Jay Timmins for lobbying to rollback federal protections of 60-95% of US wetlands on behalf of the National Association of Manufacturers!

Any recommended BASIC projects that might be fun or enlightening?

I'm sure pediatricians will advice parents to vaccinate. My guess is the fridge anti-vaxers, who probably didn't vaccinate, won't really grow in size as a result of this. But will be interesting to see how this affects vaccination rates.

The most important thing is affordable access to healthcare.

FWIW I think the CLAUDE.md file is meant more for how Claude should navigate and grep your code, as apposed to the instructions for making a change (although I could be wrong). I've also found if you document how to test your code, it validate it's own output, and refine.

I think for more complicated tasks you can start by using the "planning mode", to clarify and guide what is to be done. You can refine the plan and even use other AIs to refine the spec. This along with deep-thinking can lead to better results.

Somehow I misread that as "the perfect movie for hotdog night", which I think also works.

Community notes were a great idea. AI generated community notes seem to defeat the whole purpose, right?

It can't be?! From the company that preloaded U2 on all ipod classics? 🤣

blog.pragmaticengineer.com/stack-overfl... Sad to see the death of Stack overflow. I think the idea of codifying community reputation/trust and increasing permissions as that reputation grows is still a great idea for online communities.
Stack overflow is almost dead
Today, Stack overflow has almost as few questions asked per month, as when it launched back in 2009. A recap of its slow, then rapid, downfall.

I would love to see Tesla without Elon in charge (and the entanglements with his other companies).

They made some great cars and could really make a difference in the transition away from fossil fuels.
