Really thrilled to have a piece in Dishsoap Quarterly about a man holding up a very odd family tradition having to do with marbles. Inspired by a true story...sort of. Thanks so much, Zoe and Aster! ‪@dishsoapquart.bsky.social‬ dishsoap-quarterly.com/7-15-25/lega...

I woke up to a nice surprise - an acceptance from the Baltimore Review for a piece inspired by my wife's tendency to buy too many bananas. Quite ironically, now that I want to eat one to celebrate, I can't find one Thanks Barbara and the BR team!🍌@baltimorereview.bsky.social‬

If you are sickened by what's been happening under Trump 2.0, consider attending a No Kings event this Saturday. It is shaping up to be the largest day of nationwide mass protest against him since the women's march back in the early days of Trump 1.0. www.nokings.org?SQF_SOURCE=i...

So thrilled to have a piece up on trampset! I just got a ding letter from another place on another piece saying I lacked the ability "to communicate experience and transfer emotion across distances." Thanks Joe & team for not being that dusty place and for taking risks! trampset.org/the-displace...

I think that's going to be my goal for today...try to find as many lit mags as I can over here where it's blue.

The Evil Empire's site is down - AGAIN! I wish more lit mags would migrate over here. I generally am still on there to keep up with lit mags news...I've also been known to troll a cabinet member or 2.

So excited to have a poem up on The Disappointed Housewife! The headshot is me attempting to look hard-boiled - if you're wondering what that looks like. Kevin, thanks so much for carving out a place in the world where a poem like this can find a home!

OK. This is just not how you should be spending your Sunday...I'm trolling the DOGE AI to give factual information that contradicts the lies it has been programmed to spew out.

I also told Howard Lutnick that he has a very winning smile.

Stop me from tweeting to Howard Lutnick on that other site! Every king needs a court jester; Lutnick is Trump's. His statements re: a sunny future for the economy are so preposterous, it's like watching a hostage video where they're doing something unusual to indicate they're making it under duress.

"I wish I were in a gang that sang karaoke of The Smiths." I had written that line earlier this week, thinking it would make a decent title, and I finally have the rest of the poem to go with it. Now I need to find a place that can interpret the pop culture references in it.

I accidentally called Howard Lutnick a nudnik on his Elon feed when replying to someone else. He has to know he appears like a complete buffon lying about fentanyl coming from Canada, when the live U.S. border patrol data shows only 0.2% of border seizures occurring on the Canadian border.

Question: Are there any lit mags or poetry journals you know of that would be willing to accept poetry that is not left-justified? I have a couple of poems that rely on spacing and words being visually separated from each other to work right & can't seem to find places and/or the few I saw doing it.
