really don't like these super generic sounding operations that are entirely determined by type. like the From/Into traits, or the Default trait. I don't really see the point, and it just makes your code look super vague

suppose i've got a backpack with some food or water in it. If I were to eat or drink the water, the backpack would get lighter. But I'd still have the food inside me; in total, I'm the same weight. But I would probably _feel_ lighter, wouldn't I? Would it get easier to walk?

just played episode 2 of of the Devil. best episode so far imo.

unlike ep1 (which was still good) episode 2 was more the type of story promised by the prologue, a story that couldn't happen in any ol' detective game, but could only happen in of the Devil.

weird browser bug. i closed one tab and then another one closed too. Then I cmd+shift+T to reopen the most recently closed window, and they both reopened
