Such a fascinating paper! Less than 3 years after the discovery of the new motor network (SCAN) interleaved between effector motor regions, SCAN is proving highly relevant for Parkinson’s! It offers potential to improve treatment and reduce symptoms non-invasively.

It's not just social media. Looks like visitors to the US from Europe and other countries that are part of the visa waiver program will have to submit an enormous amount of data about themselves and their families, including DNA, if proposed new rules are accepted

We must respect each other's sovereignty.

All very exciting BUT the popular reporting of this work fails to emphasise that the analysis did not include any infants aged 1-11 months. Only neonates and 12mo+ were included so we still cannot conclude anything about the infancy period from this analysis.
