Like what the fck are we doing in this country. We need to be demanding monopolies be broken up, billions MUST pay taxes, Medicare for all, a pause on AI, compressive consumer privacy protections (strongest in the world), dismantle consumer data sharing, strengthen and expand social security, etc
Dammit. The Sarah McLachlan music got me right in the feels 😭

BREAKING: CNN is reporting that Trump held a meeting in the Situation Room (Yes THE SITUATION ROOM!) with Pam Bondi, Todd Blanche, Kash Patel and Lauren Boebert over the House effort to force the release of the DOJ’s Epstein files!

They are panicking big time!

Rep. Adelita Grijalva said two victims of Epstein's abuse were in the gallery to watch her be sworn in: Elizabeth Stein and Jessica Michaels.

"Justice cannot wait another day," she said, referencing the Epstein files discharge petition.

“In the Situation Room”?!

Highly restricted access and no cell phones allowed.

White House officials needed to meet with Lauren Boebert in the room where highly sensitive National Security issues are handled? To talk about the Epstein Files?!
Q: "Why are White House officials…meeting with Rep. Boebert in an effort to try to get her to not sign this petition calling for the release of the [Epstein] files?"

Leavitt: "I'm not going to detail conversations that took place in the situation room."

Healthcare has become a luxury item in a country full of people who can no longer afford luxuries.

Makes you wonder. Is the system broken? Or is it doing exactly what it was built to do: keep the sick desperate, the healthy scared, and the rich reaping the profits?

Fox Propaganda thinks we are idiots, who have no idea who jacked up tariffs on Brazil that made COFFEE prices go up in the first place. Or who eliminated EV incentives that will cause gasoline demand (and therefore prices) to go up.

it's a real shame there wasn't just a Democratic president with control of federal law enforcement for 4 years, otherwise it would be pretty fuckin outrageous that he didn't find this
A direct email exchange from 2011 between Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, just released by House Oversight Committee Democrats.

All while @democrats.senate.gov under the pathetic "leadership" of @schumer.senate.gov ... the democrats folded and failed to stand up for the American people
NEVER FORGET: The GOP House Congress got a VACATION for 2 months, while federal workers got $0 paychecks and 42M Americans didn’t get their SNAP.

The Senate Democrat’s argument that they didn’t want to solve a problem for the Republicans actually makes some sense but that kind of inside politics carries very little water with voters who are hurting and it also suggests Schumer had no business trying the shutdown strategy in the first place.

Why do we have money for Argentina while our own people lose their health care? How does this make us great?
