I've been a fan of TMNT since the 2012 series but got super deep into it when I discovered Rise of the TMNT. I'm so excited to be apart of my very first zine; Raphael has always meant a lot to me! Anytime I don't know what to draw, I draw a Raph. And then I draw him some more. And now all my sketchbooks are full of turtles. A wonderful problem, if you ask me." I find great joy in creating art of animals and most importantly the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. When I was a child my dad take me to the movies with my brother and cousins, we watched 2007 tmnt movie, it was awesome. Late at 2012 by accident, by doing zaping mostly, my brother and I caugth a transmition for the show, then we get invested on the plot hahaha. And finally at 2023, that was a dificult year, but my borther and cousins again can made at the cinema. What I´m traying to say, it´s that maybe Im not as geek than other fans, maybe I don´t know as much lore as others, but I do enjoy tmnt, cause it remainds me my family, speend time with them, love them. For those who may have seen this piece go the rounds, I made my mark on the turtle scene specifically with my headcanon of the turtles’ train car rooms from the RiseTMNT movie last 2022. I started on the 2003 series and moved on upwards from that point. I hope for a day where all the iterations of the turtles are given their due time to shine! Raph has always been an all time favorite for me, but I feel connected most to Rise Raph for his huge energy and jazzy freshness he brought to the character!" I'm just a silly 2D artist, that loves anything TMNT! Not only that, but I've loved drawing ever since I was little, and have wanted to draw for as long as I can remember! Art has always been my best way of communicating my thoughts and feelings towards anything, so I'm happy, I get a chance to draw for this wonderful zine, themed around my favorite character!"
